Demand-Aware Stock Intelligence
Traditional systems separate items into "in stock" and "out of stock." Platox introduces a two-dimensional model that connects stock levels to actual demand — so a product with zero sales and zero stock doesn't create the same urgency as a fast seller running out.
Active Demand
Products selling consistently. Stock is meaningful because velocity is known. These items need accurate days-of-cover calculations and reorder timing.
Stocked, No Demand
Items in stock but not selling. Capital tied up without generating revenue. Identified for potential clearance or reallocation.
Dormant
No stock, no sales. Invisible items that clutter planning if not filtered out. Platox removes them from active analysis automatically.
Critical Risk
Active demand, low stock, high velocity. Stockout is imminent. Revenue at risk. These items generate emergency reorder actions in the Decision Engine.
Revenue-Weighted Risk Scoring
Not all stockouts are equal. A $9/day product running out is inconvenient. A $1,200/day product running out is an emergency. Platox filters inventory risk by actual revenue impact — items below $50/day don't generate urgent actions.
Action Generation
Critical inventory items automatically produce reorder tasks with specific instructions: product name, current stock, daily sell rate, days of cover, and revenue at risk. Tasks are routed to ops teams with appropriate deadlines.
